Reluctant Model

    This reluctant child has had enough posing for pictures this day. I imagine that one of her parents is a photographer, and need some stock images for a particular job. She looks lovely in her pink dress on the pink blanket amongst all the grass, but the look on her face tells me she's a little bit impatient. This composition started out with an illustration of a dandelion puff with seeds being blown in the wind from Pixabay. I looked quite a while trying to find an image that would go with these dandelion seeds, and finally came up with this little girl, also from Pixabay. I swear she didn't look this peeved when I downloaded her, perhaps me fussing around increased or irritation. :-) I darkened the image a little bit and change the blanket from white to pink, and then added the dandelion puffs as an overlay in screen blend mode. I've been took some flare brushes by Corey Barker, and tap them around on each of the puffs and dandelion. I figured a little girl needed sparkles to make her feel more like a princess.
